Originally, the flight should take off at 6:00PM. But it delayed for one hour. Fortunately it arrived at Funchal only a half hour late. When we were over Madeira, it was around the sunset. The sky was comely. The airport was in front of me. It’s a pity that I could not use camera to capture the vista.
今天晚上六點多的飛機，延誤一小時才起飛，不過到達時間只有慢半小時，看來飛很快。趕在傍晚時分飛機到達Madeira上空，伴隨著夕陽，天空很美，那美麗與奇異的機場就在我眼前。可惜飛機降落，不能用數位相機記錄下這美景。
Originalmente, o avião precisou voar às 6h da tarde. Mas demorou por uma hora. Afortunosamente, enquanto chagava a Madeira, demorava pola meia hora. Quando estava em cima da Madeira, podia ver o pôr-do-sol. A Céu foi tão bonito. Que pena que não pude tirar uma fotografia!

Then, I had to pick up the rental car. However, I could not find the counter of Budget. While I was thinking why, one woman came to me with a paper of my name. She came from the Budget company. It’s really “Budget” because they save the money to have a counter in the airport.
This time, I got a Ford Fiesta. It was on sale in Taiwan. I put all of the luggages into the car and drove into the highway. In Madeira, the speed limit is really brave. During the curve road, it’s 80km/hr and during the straight road, it’s 100km/h. Don’t think that it’s slow. There are many mountains in Madeira. I had to use the 3 gear to reach 100km/h. And the highway of Madeira are combined with bridges and tunnels. It’s really a brave design.
When we were on the road, we saw continente, Pingo Doce, Dolce Vita…etc. It seems a busy city.
I came to the Hotel Monte Verde with GPS. It costed around EUR12.5 for one person. I read in internet that it’s a 3-star hotel. But while I went there, the billboard showed 4,3,2-star. I didn’t know which was correct. When I entered the room, it was ok with high C/P.
接下來要拿車子，但是機場租車櫃位竟然沒有我們的Budget租車，正在納悶時，有個人走向我，舉著有我名字的牌子，問我，還真是名符其實"Budget"租車，連櫃位錢都省下來，直接在機場堵人取車。超酷！
這次拿到一輛Ford Fiesta上一代，台灣也有上市，不過銷售量很差，幾乎沒什麼人知道。把五個人行李丟進去行李箱就滿了，開上高速路，發現Madeira的高速公路真的很敢標示，轉彎路段都是80km/h，其他路段都是100km/h，不要以為很慢，那裡的公路蜿蜒，忽然上坡忽然下坡，這輛小車根本就沒有力，上坡路段必須降到三檔才有可能衝到100km/h，而且整個Madeira高速路，根本就是橋梁與隧道的組合，有的隧道還有交流道的設計，一整個很佩服他們敢這樣蓋公路。
路上看到Continente、Pingo Doce、Dolce Vita等葡萄牙連鎖超市賣場，看來這裡也挺熱鬧的。補給品也不是問題。
跟著GPS來到Monte Verde飯店，這飯店一個人只要500台幣左右，超級便宜，但是網頁上標示三顆星，門口招牌確四、三、二都有，搞不清楚到底是幾顆星星。不過進到房間，雖然不是頂好，對得起這個價錢，算是C/P值超高。
Então, fui levantar o automóvel alugado. Mas não consegui encontrar a empresa do carro alugado. Quanto estava a pensar, uma mulher foi encontrar-me com o papel do meu nome. Ela vieo da empresa. Acho que a empresa é como o nome dela. Porque não precisa alugar um balcão no aeroporto. Pode poupar muito dinheiro.
Esta vez, recebi um Ford Fiesta, última edição. Em Taiwan, também vendeu-se. Eu pus as malas das cinco pessoas. Depois, conduzi à estrada. Em madeira, a velocidade controlada é 80km/h nas estradas curvas e 100km nas estradas retas. Não acha que é lento porque na Madeira há muitos montanhas. Não é fácil conduzir lá. Quando conduzia durante ascensão, precisei utilizar 3º vel para chegar 100km/h. Todas as estradas na Madeira são combinadas com pontes e túneis. Alguns túneis têm rampas. Acho que é um projecto bravo.
Quando estavamos na estradas, vimos o continente, Pingo Doce, Dolce Vita...etc. Paraceu-se uma cidade ocupada.
Chegámos ao Hotel Monte Verde com GPS. Li na internet que este hotel é com 3-estrelas. Mas quando fomos àli, o quadro de aviso disse que é com 4,3,2-estrelas. Não sei o que é correto. Até entrar o quarto, estava bom. Não é muito bom mas com C/P alto.
It’s 10:00PM when we put all of luggages into the rooms. We were hungry. We were lucky to find a restaurant which is located on the hillside. There were some local people in front of the restaurant. It seemed a good choice. While enter it, we saw the picture of the chefs and Cristiano Ronaldo. The pizzas and spaghettis there were delicious. No wonder C. Ronaldo also came.
把行李放置好，都已經晚上十點多，到現在還沒有吃東西，肚子都快餓死了。三更半夜找餐廳，也只能碰碰運氣，沒想到運氣還真好，找到一間位於半山腰的餐廳，餐廳外坐著一群當地人在抽菸喝啤酒，看來應該是當地人常來光顧，走進去這間義大利Pizza店，看到C羅的和老闆的合照，原來C羅也來吃過。忘了說C羅是Madeira的人，從小在這長大，後來去里斯本Sporting隊踢球，最後才轉去皇家馬德里。我們當然也和C羅的照片一起拍照囉。至於這間餐廳的Pizza還有Spaghetti也很實在，料好味美，真是間好店，不枉費C羅也光顧過。
Pusemos as malas bem às 10 da noite. Não jantámos. Estavamos com fome. Encontrámos um restaurante que fica na ladeira. Há algumas pessoas locais estavam em frente do restaurante. Achei que é um bom restaurante. Enquanto entravamos, víamos o fotografia dos chefes e o Cristiano Ronaldo. E pizzas e espaguetes foram delisiosos. Não é de se estranhar que C.Ronaldo também veio.
After the dinner, we went to see the nightview. The vista in Funchal is totally different from others. It’s not good to see in the high position, because the mountains also have many houses. The better way is to stay in the hillside to see the harbor and the city. The lights were extended from the beach to the mountain. It’s really beautiful and unique.
吃飽喝足，來去看夜景，Funchal的夜景很不一樣，他並不是從高處往下俯視，因為這裡的房屋都蓋在山坡上，所以看到夜景是整座山頭都有燈火，一路從山上綿延到海邊，非常的特殊。
來這裡千萬不能錯過。夜晚走在Funchal的街頭，聽到流水聲，配上山邊燈火，這裡讓我有置身在九份與烏來的錯覺，而且山坡上的建築物有點像在基隆，Madeira真的好似台灣，不過他在地球的另一端大西洋上。
Depois do jantar, fomos a ver a vista da noite. A vista da noite em Funchal é totalmente diferente dos outros lugares. Não é bom ver a vista no lugar alto. É melhor que veja na ladeira porque há muitas casas nos montanhas. As luzes ficam das praias às montanhas. É belo e único.
